The Clown
Turns out we were all clowns.
Please note: the JOKE-R personality is not a "person" so much as a clown wearing jokes as clothing. Peel back one layer -- it's a joke. Peel back another -- it's a bit. You keep peeling, layer after layer, until finally at the very center... it's empty. Just a faint echo whispering: Ha, didn't see that coming, did you? JOKE-R is the official Head of Vibes and sole designated DPS of every social gathering. With them around, the party never dies. Everyone's doubled over laughing, and the one laughing hardest is usually JOKE-R themselves -- using the loudest laughter to drown out the sound of their heart breaking.
You're harder on yourself than anyone else could be. Someone compliments you and your first instinct is to check if they're being sarcastic.
Your inner channel is mostly static -- frequently buffering in the "who even am I" loop.
You're easily propelled forward by goals, growth, or some deeper conviction that matters to you.
Your relationship alarm system is hypersensitive -- a left-on-read can spiral into a full series finale in your head.
Once you're in, you're ALL in. Your emotions and energy get served up in generous portions.
You tend to cling and get clung to -- emotional warmth in relationships is your oxygen.
You see the world through a defensive filter -- suspect first, approach second.
You follow rules when it matters and bend them when it doesn't. Flexible pragmatism.
Sense of purpose running low -- a lot of things feel like you're just going through the motions.
Your risk-avoidance system boots up before ambition does. "Don't crash" outranks "go fast."
Before deciding, you spin in circles. The committee in your head always runs overtime.
Your execution and deadlines have a deep emotional bond -- the later it gets, the more you awaken.
If someone comes to you, great. If not, you're not forcing it. Average social elasticity.
You lean toward closeness and merging. Once you vibe with someone, they're basically inner circle.
You read the room before speaking. Authenticity and diplomacy each get a slice.
